platoon v2
overview
Platoon VF was more than just an event; it was a creative meeting of minds. Curated by Platoon, Apple’s artist services and music distribution company, in collaboration with Premier Gospel, the gathering brought together a vibrant mix of artists, creatives, and cultural leaders from across the UK’s music and media landscape.
PATCAM was commissioned to cover the experience, not simply to document it, but to capture its atmosphere, energy, and emotion. It was an evening rich with conversation, collaboration, and connection. With good food, thoughtful dialogue, and shared vision, the space quickly became a fertile ground for new ideas, partnerships, and perspective shifts.
What emerged was more than content; it was a celebration of Black British creativity and culture at its most alive and evolving. PATCAM was honoured to be part of such an inspiring moment, helping to amplify the voices and stories that shaped the night.

key insights & approach
At its core, Platoon VF was about connection and elevation of artists, ideas, and community. What became clear early on was that this wasn’t just a networking event; it was a cultural touchpoint. The people in the room weren’t just attendees; they were collaborators, visionaries, and change-makers in their own right.
PATCAM’s approach was to remain as immersive as possible, blending into the experience while capturing its most authentic and unfiltered moments. Our role was not to impose a narrative, but to observe, absorb, and reflect the mood: the shared laughter, the quiet thinking, the spontaneous exchanges that sparked new ways of seeing and creating.
By focusing on subtle human interactions, ambient details, and the natural rhythm of the evening, we were able to produce content that felt alive, not staged – visual storytelling that mirrored the spirit of the gathering.

execution
PATCAM provided full creative coverage of the event, from real-time visual documentation to post-event content curation. Our team worked closely with both Platoon and Premier Gospel to ensure that the tone, aesthetic, and message remained culturally sensitive and emotionally resonant.
We delivered:
- Cinematic event footage capturing both the energy and intimacy of the space
- Stills and social-ready assets for brand and partner use
- Visual narratives designed to extend the life of the event beyond the room
What resulted was a body of work that didn’t just showcase who was there — it highlighted what mattered: community, vision, and the power of shared creativity.
